An exclusive investigation carried out by Sahelonline into the recent attacks on some communities in Zurmi Emirate of Zamfara State, has revealed that the former governor of the state, Abdulaziz Yari, spent over six hours meeting with the suspended Emir of Zurmi Alhaji Atiku Zurmi at a property belonging to a close associate of the former governor in Kaduna.
Our sources who pleaded anonymity said, the Emir was in Kaduna on invitation by the former governor.
One of sources said the suspended Emir arrived Kadima at about 6 pm, three days to the attack that claimed so many lives, and was received by a Yari Aide who led him to a house very closed to the Kaduna State University in a tinted black jeep.
"We were all not allowed to stay near the house, but I was able to hang somewhere where l could see what was going on, before I saw the former governor sneaked into the house with an ash coloured mecidez benz. I know the mecidez benz. It belonged to Abdul Aziz. After about six hours, I saw the house gate opened and the car left", the source revealed.
Another source disclosed that the suspended Emir left the house as early as 6 o'clock in the morning.
I trailed the black jeep to Kawo where it took Zaria road.

Governor Bello Mohammed hsas approved the constitution of a high-powered committee of some credible personalities to investigate the activities of the suspended traditional title holders of Dansadau and Nassarawa Mailayi.
