Kaduna Hosts Tinubu Again Campaign Office Commissioning as Matawalle Mobilises APC Supporters

Kaduna State witnessed the commissioning of the Tinubu Again Campaign Movement’s Northwest zonal office on Friday, October 23, 2026, as politicians, businesspeople and APC supporters gathered to express their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign.

The event attracted representatives of about 400 political groups from Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Kaduna, Zamfara, Sokoto and Kebbi states, who attended to demonstrate their solidarity with the Minister of State for Defence and former Zamfara State Governor, His Excellency Bello Mohammed Matawalle, and signal their readiness to participate in the campaign for President Tinubu’s second term.

Addressing the gathering, Matawalle said President Tinubu was working to improve Nigeria’s economy and infrastructure, with particular attention to the rehabilitation of long-abandoned roads across the country. He also highlighted the administration’s empowerment initiatives, which he said were aimed at improving the welfare of Nigerians.

According to Matawalle, the Tinubu administration had made progress in addressing challenges inherited from previous governments.

He stated that state governments were now better positioned to meet their salary obligations and highlighted the financial autonomy granted to the 774 local government areas as a step towards strengthening grassroots governance.

Matawalle further disclosed that the executives of the Tinubu Again Campaign Movement had concluded arrangements for welfare and empowerment programmes targeting 15 million Nigerians in the coming period.

He said the initiative was part of the movement’s broader efforts to mobilise support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid.

The Tinubu Again Campaign Movement, which Matawalle said has a presence across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, is focused on mobilising support for President Tinubu to complete his constitutionally permitted eight-year tenure.
