An All Progressive Congress, APC Chieftain who pleaded anonymity has said; “the ruling party in the state is not aware of the recent news trending on the social media and the national dailies that, the former governor, His Excellency Abdul Aziz Yari Abubakar ( Shettiman Mafara); distributed 800 Rams and 500 Cows to the members of the All Progressive Congress in the state.
The party Chieftain added that the story is not only untrue, but an attempt by the enemies to destabilize the existing party unity in the state.
According to the source, ” name withheld there was no way such assistance which claimed to come from the former governor would happen without the full consent and the knowledge of the APC leaders in the state.
“APC as a party in Zamfara is one family, therefore, I don’t think that, the former Governor can act in isolation because Yari as we all know, is a man of honor, dignity, and respect the source lamented.
Another APC source said that, “the party would consults with its State Leaderships and come up with the Sallah welfare packages to the good people of Zamfara state as they usually have it every year.
