ZAMFARA GOVERNMENT DONATE RELIEF MATERIALS TO REDUCE ECONOMIC HARDSHIP IN THE STATE.

The Zamfara state government under the able leadership of Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle Maradun, Barden Hausa and Shattiman Daular Usmaniya, has constituted a state Relief Materials Distribution Committee to reduce the economic hardships being faced by the people of the state, as a result of the recent measures taken to bring lasting solution to the lingering armed banditry in the State.

The Government has noticed with concern, the difficulties people are facing as a result of imposing some stiffer measures for curtailing the incessant attacks, kidnappings, maiming and killing of innocent people, which resurfaced after overcoming the crisis by the present government within just one year of takenover power.

The government also noted with deep appreciation, the commitment, relentless support, cooperation and the prayers by the general public for the government to be successful in this latest attempt in tackling insecurity in the state.

The government expresses profound gratitude and appreciation to Ulamas, Traditional rulers, Civil Servants, Security operatives and all those, too numerous to mention, who have contributed in their own respective ways in the search for lasting solution to the wanton killing and destruction of lives and property of innocent people by the criminal elements.

Government therefore deemed it not only appropriate, but also necessary to source the essential commodities for distribution to the people, especially the common man at the grassroots, for relative ease across the state.

The government therefore warned members of the committee to conduct the distribution exercise with the fear of Allah in their hearts, with a view to ensuring justice and feaness in the distribution.

Government would not take it lightly with anyone found wanting in the distribution exercise.

The committee is mandated to liaise with all the critical stakeholders, irrespective of political linage in the distribution exercise to ensure justice is done to all manner of people.
