All is not well with the sacked Zamfara PDP Governorship candidate Dr. Dauda Lawal Dare as the report reveals that Mr. Dare is in a serious plea bargain through General Aliyu Mohammed Gusau and the former Sokoto State Governor Attahiru Bafarawa to beg Ibrahim Shehu Bakauye on his behalf to reconcile with him and withdraw the case that led to his sacking from Zamfara state Governorship race, to pave way for him to contest the upcoming 2023 general elections which a Gusau Federal High Court nullified for irregularities two weeks ago.
Some PDP chieftains in the state namely, Colonel Bala Mande, Alhaji Maibuhu Gummi, Aliyu Ikra BilBis and Mouktari Lugga who is an in-law to Gen Gusau were said to have been constituted as a committee to approached Mr Bakauye to withdraw his case at the appeal Court to enable the party to have candidate for the upcoming election, but Ibrahim Shehu Bakauye declined to see them telling his supporters to remain calm and wait for the appeal court decision.
It may be recalled that Dr Dauda Lawal Dare also approached a Gusau born Khadi of the FCT Rufai Imam to gi between him and the Judges of the Appellant Court to quash the judgment against him by the Gusau Federal High Court.
The sacked Governorship Candidate who promised his supporters who were in Abuja for a sympathy visit said they shouldn't be worried as the FCT Khadi promised him of a successful intervention with the Judges handling the appeal case.
Dr Lawal Dare who is facing series of litigation in court, ranging from irregularities in the conduct of primary elections to multiple names on documents and suspected case of fraud on credentials, was said to have been in serious dilima that even prevented him from attending the burial rites of his late party chairman in Kaura Namoda.
