Considering the abject poverty displaced persons, hunger, and persistent insecurity in Zamfara State, His Excellency Dauda Lawal the Executive governor of Zamfara have ordered 8 seaters brand New Helicopter from South Africa for official use.
A member of the State House of assembly who begged for anonymity confirmed that,"the funds released by State government in USD equivalent for the procurement of the Helicopter was not appropriated in the House but we were only told by the Speaker of the Zamfara State House of assembly that, His Excellency governor Dauda Lawal will soon receive the delivery of the new helicopter from South Africa for his safety and official use.
Another source from the Zamfara State Ministry Finance who as well declined to mention his Name said, " the state government had already made the payment of $1M to the Mr. Langsfield a German business Man based in South Africa and the remaining balance will be pay to the business Man as soon as the Helicopter arrived the country through Cameron Republic"
With this development, Zamfara State especially Masses who are suffering with negligence of hunger and insecurity in the State condemned governor Dauda Lawal action for always making himself secured and comfortable while the governed are being stabbed.
